7X encasement - edison6601 - 11-22-2008 05:23 AM

I have always wanted to be able to sleep while fully encased in pantyhose material. I haven't been to succesfull until recently. Either the hose was too tight the waistband would roll or other annoyances would wake me up. I found the answer while surfing through Like Ra's blog. One of his posts is about how he made a bodystocking out of cheap pantyhose. Here is the link http://www.likera.com/blog/wp/archives/587 on making a body stocking.
I chose a pantyhose called Just My Size, in size 7X. I think they are made by Hanes, three will be required. This pantyhose is fairly inexpensive, I can get them for $14 for three pairs. The yarn is a nylon/spandex blend so it feels pretty nice to wear.
Here is an explanation of how to alter the pantyhose to make a full encasement suit.
First cut the waistband down the middle to about two or three inches from the front and from the back of all three pairs of pantyhose.
Next modify the pantyhose for full encasement as follows:
The first pair is for the lower body - this pair is ready to wear once the waistband is cut. Put this one on your legs and then thread your arms through the waistband so that suspenders are created (See link).
The second is for the upper body - cut enough of the crotch out so that it is big enough to put your head through the hole you cutout. To put this one on you put the arms in the legs of the pantyhose. Your head goes through where the crotch used to be. Once you have it on thread your legs through the cut waistband.
The last one is for the head. Cut one of the legs off and cut a slit on the opposite side of the leg that you cut-off. The arms go through the cut-off leg and the cut slit. Your head goes into the remaining leg. Put your legs through the cut waistband. You should now be fully encased in pantyhose material.
Advantages of this encasement:
1. The waistband does not roll over.
2. I have found that I can sleep all night with this encasement
configuration. The pantyhose are tight enough to feel good but
not so thigh that I can't get any sleep.
Sorry, no pictures don't own a digital camera, yet.

. . .
Put your legs through the cut waistband.
This is actually the most difficult part unless the cuts are quite big.

Yes, you are correct that is the hardest part. That's where the 7X size pantyhose comes in, the material will stretch enough to get your leg through.

Never seen 7x. The biggest size I found was size VI or 3XL (Karstadt, Germany). I managed to get completely in them. See here: http://www.likera.com/blog/wp/archives/407

Interesting proportions:

Height: 5'-3" to 5'-9" (160 - 175.3cm)
Weight 400-450 lb (181-204kg)
Hips: 75" to 85" (190-216cm)

So, the pantyhose are not long at all but very very wide. To make bodysockings (and the "inverted" bodystockings) you would need "normal" (your size or your size + 1) legs and long (not wide) upper part. I would think that the 7x size is way too wide to sit good on arms.
This size 7x is more suitable for a full body cocoon.

Gonna try the "inverted" bodystocking with my size + 2 (V or 2XL).

These pantyhose stretch very easily in both directions. I am 6'-0" and 195 lbs and the legs are almost too long, the body portion reaches almost to the underarms. The best part for me is that it's not very tight. Good luck with your experiment hope it is successful.
